Well done, Julia.

I love the two room metaphor you constructed. As someone who spent my early life learning herbalism from a Wiccan in the swamps of Florida. And spent my career learning synthetic biology and allopathic medicine. I feel this same energy. This in-between-ness. I do actually quite love it. And as a physician I can be that great filter of charlatans for my patients because of it. Though I am often looked at weirdly by my allopathic colleagues.

Some knowledge doesn’t survive translation into measurement and maybe we shouldn’t need it to be. Different encounters yield different experiences. Personally I see the same energy being known in two different ways.

I don’t disagree! Some things meant to be felt, other measured. The point is, how do we start trusting the feeling over the data

It doesn’t have to be an either or. Situation. Why not trust the data and the feeling. Life is showing itself to be far too amazing to be fenced in. We can believe in what science can “prove” and open to what is hasn’t or cannot.
